Eimear O’Casey was a language editor on Belarus Digest. She is currently a political and security analyst on the former Soviet Union, based at a risk consultancy in London. She has lived and travelled throughout the region, and observed elections in Belarus in 2010 and 2012.

Stephen Hall was an analyst at the Ostrogorski Centre. Born in England, Stephen Hall is currently at University College London at the School of Slavonic and East European Studies (SSEES) doing his PhD centred on the concept of authoritarian learning. He holds a Master of Research degree from the University of Birmingham Centre for Russian, European and Eurasian Studies.

Aleś Alachnovič is the Vice President at the think tank CASE Belarus and a PhD candidate at the Warsaw School of Economics. He graduated from the London School of Economics and the Warsaw School of Economics (under professor Leszek Balcerowicz’s supervision). He also studied management at the National Taiwan University. Darya Firsava is a Minsk-based lawyer working on her PhD and leading a number of educational projects in Belarus. She worked for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and a top-tier Belarusian law firm. Darya authored a number of articles in the area of international economic and commercial law.
